Caval is a French shoe brand whose singularity is that they offer mismatched pairs depending on the foot you're looking at. Their creations are crafted in Portugal by high-quality manufacturers, and the brand now offers entirely vegan "leather" shoes made from apples, giving their client a product with a very limited environmental impact.
Caval asked BlackSwan to add custom features to their Shopify website, including a very powerful size-guide! It allows their customers to indicate the shoe size they buy from other brands, and to immediately know what size to buy from the Caval website. Thanks to this, the brand reduces its returns' rate drastically which enhances profitability. It also improves their customer's satisfaction because they always receive the right size.
Like most of the features developed by BlackSwan, Caval is able to manage this whole process internally without requiring our help when it comes to adding new brands or models to their guide. Everything is easily managed through a CSV file that just needs to be imported in the store in a few clicks. All this gives them a very powerful feature, which costs less than the apps available on Shopify, and offers them great flexibility to manage their online operations.
